This policy describes the types of information Take-a-Screenshot.online may process through normal website operation and the choices available to visitors. The exact third party services enabled on the live site should always match what this page says.
Information you choose to send
If you use the contact form, the site receives the name, email address, subject and message you submit so the request can be answered. Do not send passwords, recovery codes, payment card data or other secrets. Contact submissions are delivered to the site administrator through the WordPress mail system.
Technical and security data
The hosting environment may record standard request information such as IP address, browser/user agent, requested URL, time and error/security events. These logs can be used for reliability, abuse prevention and troubleshooting and are subject to the hosting provider’s configuration and retention.
Cookies and local storage
WordPress and enabled site services can use cookies or browser storage for features such as consent choices, administrator login and preferences. If advertising or analytics services are enabled, their cookies or identifiers should be covered by the consent controls required for the visitor’s region.
Google AdSense and advertising
The theme includes empty advertisement widget areas but does not place an ad network by itself. If Google AdSense or another advertising provider is enabled, the live privacy policy and consent implementation should disclose that provider’s data practices and offer the controls required by applicable law and Google policy. Ads should remain separate from the technical instructions.
Analytics
No analytics provider is required by the theme. If analytics is enabled later, this policy should identify the service and explain the data/consent behavior that actually applies. Do not claim “no tracking” while an analytics or advertising script is active.
Uploaded screenshots and browser tools
The current theme’s instructional pages do not require visitors to upload screenshots. If an editing tool is later described as “local” or “on device,” it should process the image in the browser unless the interface clearly states that a file is being uploaded to a server. The policy should be updated before any server side image upload feature is launched.
Contact form abuse protection
The built in contact form uses a nonce, a hidden honeypot field and short term rate limiting. A privacy preserving hash derived from the requesting IP address may be stored temporarily in WordPress transients for rate limiting; the form does not display the administrator email address publicly.
Your choices
You can use browser privacy controls, site consent controls and ad/analytics controls made available by enabled providers. For a privacy request about information submitted directly to this site, use the Contact page and provide enough context to identify the request without sending additional sensitive information.
Policy changes
This page should be updated when the site begins using a new material analytics, advertising, contact, account or file processing service. A policy is useful only when it describes the live implementation rather than a generic list of services the site might never use.
