Why the instructions are split by device?
A shortcut that is correct on one platform can be wrong—or only partly correct—on another. Android manufacturers add gestures and long capture tools; laptop keyboards move or combine Print Screen; Linux behavior depends heavily on the desktop environment; and browsers can capture an entire webpage even when the operating system screenshot tool only sees the visible area. The site keeps those differences explicit.
