How to Take a Scrolling Screenshot?

A scrolling screenshot captures content beyond the visible screen. The feature has different names—Capture more, Scroll capture, Full Page, long screenshot—and there is no universal shortcut across operating systems.

Android

iPhone and iPad
Use Full Page when supported. It is designed for compatible webpages/documents rather than every app. If Full Page does not appear, the app is not exposing an extended capture.
Windows and Mac
Desktop screenshot tools primarily capture visible content. For webpages use a browser full page feature; for documents use export/print to PDF; for ordinary app windows use a trusted scrolling utility or carefully stitched overlapping screenshots.
Why long screenshots fail?
- Sticky headers repeat.
- Lazy loaded content has not rendered yet.
- Infinite feeds change while being captured.
- Protected apps block screen capture.
- Embedded maps/video/canvas regions do not expose normal scroll content.
- Very long images become too large to read or share.
Quality and privacy
Inspect the full output at 100% zoom. A long screenshot can expose messages, account names, addresses or notifications far beyond what was originally visible. Redact/crop the final image before sharing.
